These are the things that should be done based on the audit of my offsite foundational plan (things you need to do on websites you don’t own) that I will work on.

This is the list of items that can be done on a continuing basis to improve your online presence. I am taking care of the technical items that must be done and other ones highlighted yellow.

Opportunities

These are things you can do if you want to get more online visits. This is not exhaustive, I'll add things as I think they might be a good idea.

  • Update areas of the restaurant with new pictures and Lobby and Clam Slammer
  • Add 360 Walkthrough to website
  • New pages for SEO – to increase ranking to increase the number of visits from search results, AI searches, and improve rankings in Maps.
    • “Seafood Restaurant”
    • “Restaurants Near Sun City Center”
    • “Waterfront Restaurant Tampa”
    • “Bar in Apollo Beach”
  • Add keyword rich content to home page for SEO. More text on home page with keywords. Add closeby cities in the text.
  • Link building – find more websites to link to circleswaterfront.com
  • Website Needs
    • Maybe take down Tampa Tribune Logo
    • Update or remove Flickr account
    • Updtae or remove Tumbler account
  • Leave us a Review Page – page with many review sites with a QR code. Rankings, especially AI, are increasingly looking at reviews on sites other than Google for ranking.
  • Email/Text marketing – the current list is 3600 contacts. Open rates were over 40% for Halloween and Drinksgiving in 2024. Periodic emails with specials or something, maybe announcing Clam Slammer.
  • Display Paid Advertising – many companies have data on people from browsing habits and where they go. They know a lot. You can target by “people who go to bars” “fine dining” and many others.
  • Google Ads remarketing – Serving image ads to people on other websites once they visit Circles’ Website.
  • Google Search – they are generally finding you when searching for a restaurant in apollo beach. This could be used on the fringes for targeted keywords, like in people downtown Tampa for “waterfront restaurant.”

How You Can Help?

These are items (in order of importance) you can do to improve your online presence

  • You get lots of reviews, but more helps. It is becoming more about velocity than amount. AI digging into reviews from sites other than Google.
  • Answer Seafood Questions – audio or text (doesn’t have to be final, just thoughts)
  • Clam Slammer page – points to make about it for a page about it to increase “bar” rankings
