These are the things that should be done based on the audit of my offsite foundational plan (things you need to do on websites you don’t own) that I will work on.

This is the list of items that can be done on a continuing basis to improve your online presence. I am taking care of the technical items that must be done and other ones highlighted yellow.

Opportunities

These are things you can do if you want to get more patients online. This is not exhaustive, I'll add things as I think they might be a good idea.

  • Add content to home page – This should be done as the best chance to improve rankings and conversion with the least amount of work. It would also be great to add a good picture of you or the practice team at the top.
  • Website content improvement – A large part of ranking is website content, the amount and quality. The same content has been up for years and is very generic. Creating new pages with text more about the specifics of your practice and how you do things would be the 2nd best thing to do for your site (#1 being more links). I have been using AI to develop questions, then interviewing customers on a recorded line, then sending it to a writer to integrate it into the normal information you would write about “braces” or “invisalign.” Content is probably going to be even more important as AI gets more popular for search.
  • Website Redesign  – I did this video last year and still mostly applies. We upgraded the WordPress database so the current site so the current site is up-to-date from a techinical perspective.
  • Video – Producing a video of you talking and showing the practice would be helpful in so many ways. We could embed it on the website to drasticaly increase the experience visitors have without changing much else.
  • Remarketing – This should be a standard part of every company, showing ads on other websites to everyone who visits your website. It is a way to pay broad channel pricing to a highly targeteted audience who are already familiar with you.
  • Audience Advertising – there are many ways these days to advertise to highly focused target audiences, especially on phones. Compainies have so much information about users, where they go, what they search, etc, they can categorize them. You could target “mothers with children 10-15” or somethig similar on thier phone, computer, tv in a very tight geographic range.

How You Can Help?

These are items (in order of importance) you can do to improve your online presence

  • Confirm Form Submisstion and contact emails – We send tests and I forward all submissions to every email I know about. We need to confirm what emails get the form submissions and get replies to all the tests.
  • Reviews – Getting new consistent reviews is the biggest return on investment to increase online presence. The system you told me to research is only available on the Cloud 9 system. I had an online meeting with them and found out your PMS was purcahsed by Planet DDS and is uncompatible with the text review system and is no longer being updated. She said you would eventually have to switch systems. There are other systems (probably not tied to your practice management system) out there. If you can figure out a way to get me a list of patients who recently got thier braces off, maybe run a report every two weeks, I can set up a system to send an email and a text.
  • Reply to Reviews – Replying to reviews within 24 hours in know to increase your rankings on Google Maps. It also shows potential patients researching you that you are engaged and develop good relationships.
  • Links – Getting a few good links from other websites would be the quickest and cheapest way to improve website rankings. The best ones typically can be achieved through relationships you already have in place so I can identify the opportunity and working with you to get it. Some examples of great existing links are Forrest Hills baseball and church bulletins (in the “Supporters” tab). I made this link building questionnairre for customers to brainstorm potential opportunities.
  • Team Updates – Pictures for all new team members
  • Pictures – Images are becoming bigger and bigger for digital marketing presence. New, unique pictures can be added to website, Google profiles, social media to increase interation and increase conversions.
  • Smile gallery – I think this is a great way to make small additions to the website and increase conversions.
  • Visit – 360 Tour – Let me know a good day to come to take 360 photos to create a tour for the Google profile and we can add to the website. Here is what I did for Circles. There are also a few other things I need to do with directory claiming that would be easier there.
